Who can take part
You may be able to join if
- Adults (18+) with advanced or spreading kidney cancer (RCC) that cannot be removed by surgery.
- Most types of kidney cancer are allowed in Phase 1; only clear cell type of kidney cancer are allowed in Phase 2.
- People who have adequate organ function
- No previous treatment with certain cancer drugs in Phase 2; some exceptions apply.
- Must have at least one tumor that can be seen on scans.
You likely can't join if
- Cancer spread to brain and is untreated
- Need for strong immune-suppressing drugs.
- Serious lung, heart, blood clot, or surgery issues.
- Major fluid problems around heart/lungs
- Serious recent stomach or intestinal problems.
