Cariprazine is an investigational oral capsule being studied as a potential treatment for depressive episodes in pediatric bipolar I disorder. Cariprazine is designed to act as a partial agonist at dopamine D2 and D3 receptors, modulating neurotransmitter activity.

- Young-Mania Rating Scale (YMRS) score \< = 12 with YMRS Item 1 (elevated mood) score \< = 2 at Visit 1 and Visit 2.
