To evaluate the pharmacodynamic effect of OV329 on the IPS-induced PPR in participants with epilepsy, both after single oral dosing and after repeated dosing.

Who can take part
You may be able to join if
- Male or female participants aged 18 to 65 years at the time of consent
- Participants with a diagnosis and history of epilepsy (see exceptions in Exclusion Criteria).
- Participants with a reproducible IPS-induced generalized PPR of at least 4 points on a frequency assessment scale at Screening and Baseline in at least one eye condition.
You likely can't join if
- Participants with a history of non-epileptic seizures (e.g., metabolic or pseudo-seizures).
- Participants with a diagnosis of Classical juvenile myoclonus epilepsy characterized by exclusively or predominantly early morning myoclonic seizures, as assessed by the investigator
- Participants who are taking or have taken OV329 as concomitant therapy within the last 3 months, with the exception of this study.
- Participants with a known allergy to OV329 or potentially to one of its analogues.
